From the Distell owned House of Bisquit in Cognac, comes a fine entry level well balance VS congnac. My rating is 17/25
WHAT THE MAKERS SAY:
Fruity, exotic fruits. Oak, Chocolate, Vanilla
Strong Fruit, sweeter chocolate notes, and subtle spices
Round, Mellow, a particularly dense sensation
Strong dried fruit nose, with hidden caramel and subtle vanilla
Surprisingly soft for a VS cognac, easily quaffable neat in a snifter, but extends quickly into the bone dry spiciness so telling of Cognac, with cinnamon and clove..
Slightly sharp finish, with lingering dry liquorice.
Serving suggestions: Good enough neat, but would be just as good on the rocks.
